Oddly enough I listened to her sweet sweet voice, straight after I listened to James.
Both versions pure perfection. I was reading a music Journalist earlier and he was suggesting immersion in music. How he hadn’t realised how.much he missed the ritual. Now it’s an odd thing these days, that that should be suggested, with spotify theres no joy of discovery because its based on algorythms, but it was normal for us growing up to crave an artist, or share music. The ritual of the album, eating up the sleeve, sliding it out , turning it over and placing it on the turntable. Waiting for the needle to drop, then laying on the floor reading the inner booklet or the sleeve. Listening to every bit of the lyric and the story of the album. Do it guys, we need that connection more than ever
