Anyone who can stay in recovery is a hero. Because it is the most difficult space in the World, fighting demons inside your own head .
For those who fall, love them and help them, if it is possible, but dont ever give in to them and allow their addiction to become your problem. It is not, it is theirs and only they can make the decision to get help to fight those demons..their mistakes and decisions are not your fault..
So, walk away if necessary, as painful as it may be, be a warrior for yourself, they will either stay down, or stand up. If they stand up, you will need all your strength to support them..and forgive them
Keep love strong in your heart and stand above the actions of an addict, because they will surround thenselves with all they need to distract from themselves. So turn away, do not look, or listen…..
It may happen if they stand up that all they have is gone and that is their burden to bear on the next stage, on the road of recovery. You cannot save them from themselves, you can only save yourself..
An army of love behind them, is better than them fighting alone…. 💖💖💖 that is for them to see and decide. If it is to work 💖💖💖
