Super 💘 gaga…. this applies to everything but with a hateful ,mysoginistic ,narcissist in the Whitehouse, it’s probably very important that citizens of the world remember this , including me.
I’ve been really upset by this election because of its sheer nastiness . . It has shown us all that hate and lying can be rewarded. Even Trump can’t believe it , he certainly didn’t prepare for it and it’s clear his daughter and wife are uncomfortable.
I’m not so worried about how he will act as I’m sure he will be controlled, I’m more worried about the beast he has awoken in peo0le the divisions
Its like a wild west movie and I keep expecting high noon , or the magnificent 7 theme tunes to pipe up.
So, I choose not to interact with these people in the same way as before , as well they can’t be reasoned with anyway, they believe the propaganda they spout, and i choose not to let their hate make me hateful.
I’ve had enough of that , now for something new.
Waking up to the death of Leonard Cohen and being aware of the depth of his words today, I find myself feeling pity for the people who believe that they have done the best for themselves and their families as we see the global rise of hate permeating our lives.
Our disrespect of each other, our slamming doors in faces, but in public showing concern for those less fortunate, but collectively not willing to really put ourselves out, to help. . Knowing people who have done terrible things and hurt others in ways that are unforgiveable and wanting to hug the hate out of them. So their light can be added to the light of others one at a time
.I’m not for a wishy washy ,all happy chlappy world we need light and shade and it will always be so , but I would prefer to be living in a place where I feel safe and comfortable emotionally, spiritually and physically
If we want change across the world, in our own lives , Countries and World it comes from the ground up, it has to be one person at a time. It comes from us
We must show love and kindness to others one person and a time.
Disassociate ourselves from the hate in them the pain they feel and give what we can.
Bernie Saunders started a movement in the US it’s a shame his supporters let this happen , as I watched tears roll down his face it showed such sadness.
We must remember and understand we get the politicians we deserve they are a reflection of apathy, pain and many other things in society.
It is time now to support the best in people, the good ,even when we can’t see it and collectively stand up .
We should do what we can, if it’s in our family, with our friends, our local community or further a field. Move from the ground up .March against hate
I suppose it comes down to this ,their are huge shifts across the world right now in thinking and in how we interact .
I find myself on 11 11 actually feeling it ,not as it is , but as it is in atmosphere. It’s angry and fearful
So why not reach out, let’s pick a cause and stand with those people in unity. In our communities or further. The dakota pipeline ,the human trafficking ,wars, destruction of the planet , our friends and family our community. Somewhere and show basic decency and love. Smile at strangers . look up not down
