Having standards is important , especially on mainstream media, as it gives a balance and sense of security.

You trust the Presenter , note the word Presenter …. a learned skill…not everyone can do it and some shows, are not suited to some Presenters.

Podcasts are for those who can’t reach that standard , or are not trustworthy and require constant fact che king.

But now, Main stream media has become the worst version of itself, in a bid to compete with the worst version of media , which in turn is becoming the best media to listen to , because the good ones are filling the gap left by the decline of the mainstream balanced news and views .
