The importance of flexibility in our lives cannot be underestimated . A Flexible body, flexible mind.
In yoga you learn how to integrate the physical body with the mind. You learn about overcoming obstacles in many aspects of your being.
Being flexible does not necessarily mean being able to do the splits. I’ve been practising yoga for over 25 years and I never managed the splits.
I did however, attain great insight and knowledge of boundaries, where they are, how far and how to push through them, as necessary.
